Beyond the Pulp: Non-Dental Causes of Facial Pain
We have all had that tricky patient. Radiographs are clear, hygiene is immaculate, and occlusion seems on, yet they are still in pain. Sinus infections, headaches, TMD, neurologic and inflammatory conditions can all mask or mimic dental pain. This lecture will explore the common causes and treatments of facial pain. In this day-long seminar, Dr. Hatfield, Program Director of Orofacial Pain at the University of Michigan, will answer questions about when to prescribe, what to fabricate, and where to refer. You will become more confident in your ability to think beyond the pulp.
Join the WCDS for a day of lectures, vendors, and, most importantly, socializing on September 29, 2023, at The Wine Country Inn in Palisade, Colorado.
